Blinken after meeting with Rama: 100 years of US report to Albania, we look forward to the next 100 years

In the official press release, the US State Department reports that Rama-Blinken celebrated the 100th anniversary of US-Albanian diplomatic relations.

Among other things, Secretary Blinken reportedly expressed US support for Albania's membership in the European Union to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

The secretary noted Albania's strong co-operation in NATO and the UN Security Council and thanked Prime Minister Rama for Albania's clear support of Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity against Russian aggression.

The secretary reiterated US support for Albania's EU accession and regional economic integration, while stressing the need to fully implement justice reform and fight corruption”, the US State Department report said.
