Rules that allow entry only for people who have been vaccinated or cured by Ovid-19 are being canceled.
Limitations on the number of people allowed to participate in public events are also easing.
But they will still be required to wear face masks at events like football matches.
On February 19th, besides Vienna, not only those who were vaccinated and healed, but also those who have resulted negative will be allowed to return to restaurants.
The same rules will apply to tourists. A total of 69% of Austria's population has been vaccinated.
The government says it is able to ease restrictions because the situation in hospitals is now manageable.
