Ten Albanians, aged 19-32, have been arrested in Spain after being accused of being part of a criminal organisation dealing with the cultivation and sale of the Mariariana.
According to Spanish media, the group was located in Alicante (Alante) and had planted more than 2,000 plants.
According to Spain's Police, all those arrested had established a well-structed criminal group, and had built their criminal activity in a ship repair park on the outskirts of Alicante.
In addition to cannabis, there have been 4,000 euros in cash and some materials related to narcotic cultivation.
For the development of the plant, Albanians had built a sophisticated electrical system, with some transformators supplying energy but also performed illegal power connections, endangering the building where they carried out their activity and the surrounding buildings.
They have been charged with criminal acts against public health, criminal group participation and fraud with electricity. /A2
