Kosovo government has announced on Friday (February 4th) new measures against COVID-19 that will take effect from Saturday (February 5th).
According to Health Minister Rifat Latifi, changes will be made in current measures regarding those entering Kosovo, limiting movement and business work.
With new measures, people entering Kosovo must have the certificate of full vaccine with two doses, or vaccination with one dose along with a negative test PCR.
According to approved measures, wearing the mask with its nose and mouth is binding in all cases in closed environments.
As for limiting the movement, there will be a police hour between 7:00 and 5: 00 a.m.
Gastronomial services are allowed to carry out their activity from 5: 00 p.m. to 11:00, while music is allowed only until 10: 00 p.m.
The government, too, has allowed the work of the gyms to be banned from working with the up to date measures.
We recall that 1853 new cases of COVID-19 have been recorded on Friday 4 February.
During this week, a significant decline in the number of cases with COVIDD-19 has been seen compared to last week, where daily cases exceeded 3 thousand.
Since the beginning of the vaccine in all Kosovo cities, 1,789,127 doses of vaccine have been given.
To date 807,383 citizens have been vaccinated with the second dose.
To date, 86,437 doses of reinforcement and third doses of vaccine against COVID-19.
Today, 1,639 citizens have recovered, until the total number of cures is 180,407.
In total, the number of active cases is 31.084
