On the day when the state of Kosovo celebrates the 14th anniversary of its declaration of Independence has not lacked even congratulations from the country's highest representatives and friendly states.

Kosovo's independence was announced on February 17th 2008, at 15:39 minutes.

-The designer of Kosovo's flag and logo is Muhammad Ibrahim.

The first to sign Kosovo's declaration of independence were President Fatmir Sejdiu, Parliament Speaker Jakup Krasniqi, as well as the country's prime minister, Hashim Thaci.

-The first states that recognised Kosovo as a state after declaring independence were: Costa Rica, the US, France, Afghanistan, Albania, Turkey, Great Britain, and so on.

The 200-year-old parchment, in which the Declaration of Independence of Kosovo is signed, is located in the Office of the Speaker of the Parliament.

Except for the parchment, there's also the pencil with which they put the signatures, the signature lists of the participating deputies in the hearing, and the flag posted on the Seanca of the Declaration of Independence.
