Memli Krasniqi calls Albin Kurti: Remove the barricades! Every minute you're going through, you're risking your country's sovereignty.

Every minute passing is jeopardising the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Citizens have voted for the government that rules all over Kosovo, not only until the Ibër Bridge. So don't back down, we'll all support you!”, Krasniqi said.

PDK Chairman Memli Krasniqi's full statement:

On the 17th day of the settlement of barricades in the northern part of Kosovo, Prime Minister Kurti also held a meeting with KFOR. He also held the National Security Council meeting. And what is the result?

Barricades remain, explosions in the northern part continue, attacks on journalists are increasing, citizens' lives are threatened, trying to create a new reality, and Albanians are moving away from that part of our country every day.

The government should be alert and react as soon as possible to remove barricades, which have returned to Vuciqi workshops, as an attempt at partitioning Kosovo. For that, I repeat, the Government has my full support.

KFOR has done a good job so far to maintain peace, for which we are grateful, but removing the barricades is primarily the responsibility of the Government of Kosovo.

However, in these three weeks, two things are safe:

First, the barricades have placed criminal groups orchestrated by Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, with the aim of destabilising and submissiveing Kosovo.

The second, in encouraging these groups and creating a new reality there, is greatly affecting the silence and inaction of the Government.

So, as I've done all this time, sometimes, I'm making this call again tonight, I wish for the last time:
