That's what Senator Shaheen himself said until she shared a joint statement with senators Ron Johnson, Thom Tillis and Chris Van Hollen.
“We are disappointed by the lack of progress in finding a diplomatic way forward between Kosovo governments and Serbia to resolve the issue of issuing plates issued by Kosovo in Kosovo's Serb entities. We are also increasingly concerned about the risk of violence and instability in the region, which endangers decades of hard-earned peace”, the senators' joint statement said.
In addition, while expressing appreciation for KFOR troops, she has encouraged Prime Minister Kurti to deplete all diplomatic routes to reach a peaceful solution with President Vuciq.
“We support the European Union's efforts to mediate a peaceful solution to this issue, and encourage Prime Minister Kurti to drain all diplomatic routes to reach a peaceful solution to that with President Vuciq. We also express our gratitude for our KFOR troops who played an important role in preserving peace in the region”, said further in the statement.
