At the Border Crossing Point, Morina, at the entrance of RSH, the police services, as a result of selection checks and exchange of information with Interpol, have banned the internationally-sought citizen: Dejan Stanojevic, 49, resident of Ferizaj.
During the processing and verification of data into the system, this citizen has resulted in international research by Interpol Belgrade, Serbia, after the Belgrade Supreme Court has sentenced him to 5 years and 6 months in prison for criminal work “production and selling narcotics”, envisioned by Serbia's penal legislation.
At the conclusion of the actions, experts from the Department for Investigation of Illegal Trafficking and DVP Kukes' Narcotics made the promotional arrest of this citizen, aimed at extraditing him to Serbia.
Interpol Tirana, in co-operation with Serbian authorities, follows procedures for the extradition of this citizen.
