Vuciq declares his referendum successful: Over 60% told the constitutional changes

Aleksandar Vuciq said that 60.48% of voters voted for constitutional changes, while against 39.52 per cent. He has declared that the difference is about 400 thousand votes between those who have voted “po” and those who have voted “yo”.
Vuciq stressed that almost nowhere has there been problems and said people from different parties have co-operated.
He has said Serbia has sent a good image to the world.
“I think we did a good thing for our country”, Vuciq said.
In Serbia on Sunday, January 16th, the referendum on changing the Constitution was held, the highest legal act of the state. The changes concern the judiciary, aimed at harmonising legislation with the European one, in Serbia's European Union membership process.
