The deadline for handing in comments to the ERE regarding the proposal for the price of electricity ends today. For the price of electricity, protest took place Saturday in Kosovo, under opposition party organisation, PSD. Problem except expensive, the free flow continues for the Serb community in northern Kosovo.
Periscope has asked some of the opposition parliamentary parties whether they have sent the comments to the ZRER.
From the PDK, we were told that this afternoon (at 1: 00 p.m.) will issue a statement on this subject”.
That's what the spokesman said. PDK, Mr. Faton Abdullah.
From the Democratic League of Kosovo, he was told Periscope send comments today.
We send them today, at 2: 00 p.m., we hold a conference on media, at the party, on this matter”, he said. Periscope, sir.One. Hykmete Bajrami from the LDK.
Even from the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, we were told that today they will submit their comments to the ZERE.
We'll send them during the day. Once we send them, we'll publicise” comments, said Lulzim Blaka, AAK spokesman.
Opposition parliamentary parties in Kosovo have tried several times to push ahead with resolutions against the expensive electricity in Kosovo.
Five days ago, one failed, having only 30 deputies present during the vote. The ruling party (Vetevendosje) MPs did not participate in the vote at all.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti has consistently mentioned two options: expensiveness or reductions. He mentioned the same thing today when the deadline for comments at the ZERE ends.
Kurti said that from ZERE they expect a metural decision”.
I believe that by 1600 today there will be enough comments in the Energy Regulatory Office so that the best possible solution to this energy crisis can be found, when not only ideal solutions, but no optimum solutions. I repeat, it's not possible to have no subvention, no expensiveness, no cracks. But we need to consider the more factors and jointly get out of this situation that we are not at fault with. Because on the one hand electricity prices have been very expensive on the international energy stock exchange, and on the other side, we've had more than two decades of extortion in KEK and not only, and don't invest in new capacities. So, I repeat that Z report. The RRE is not receiving or permission is not final or fatal, it expects comments that will be submitted today and then we await a merit decision”, he said. /Periscope.
