The US-Iran Agreement is signed on 19 June in Geneva, Trump: Hormuz Strait will be forever free

US President Donald Trump said the deal he reached with Iran will ensure that Hormuz Strait is forever free of charge.
Trump cited reopening the life corridor of shipping as a key achievement of agreement in a telephone interview with The New York Times . However, Iran had not imposed taxes before the conflict, which means the agreement would largely restore conditions that existed prior to the war.
The president said that if Iran failed to reach a suitable agreement for the future of its nuclear programme in the coming weeks, he would either resume military attacks or make US “Middle East security guard” in exchange for 20% of the region's income.
Meanwhile, Pakistan's Foreign Minister has confirmed the Swiss town of Geneva as the site of signing the agreement Friday between the United States and Iran.
“We look forward to the official signing ceremony on June 19th in Geneva...”, Isaq Dar wrote on X.
