Tahiri: Kurt doesn't have the courage of the statesman

Alliance for the Future of Kosovo MP Besnik Tahiri has said that this party considers the tendency to hold Serbia's referendum in Kosovo is to attack the state and the sovereignty of Kosovo.

Tahiri on the <x0-Fropal” show in T7, has said these actions of the neighbouring state tend to be hostile.

We consider and appreciate that such a referendum is an attack on the state and sovereignty of Kosovo on the one hand, and on the other we have said that such veracitys are actually hostile should be stopped by Serbia. So we're against not because of the Kurti government nor because of the position they took, but because it's obviously because of Mr. Kurt even at the call of the extraordinary session and in his approach he is seen not to have the courage of the statesman to take his position”, he said.

Furthermore, Tahiri said Kurti has had the courage to make his own decision on the matter, but that he has called the Assembly session.

There's been a request for an extraordinary session when it could carry out a constitutional task it has in Government. We don't get away with this, and we'll participate. We have received information that at 2: 00 p.m. an extraordinary session called by VV”, he said.
