Kosovo police have opened the case against Dardan Molliq in the direction of the criminal act “assault, Paparaci has learned from sources within the law bodies.
The General Investigation Unit in the Kosovo Police has invited the Social Democrat Party chairman today to report to the police station in Pristina for interview in the quality of the suspect.
Police investigations concern Moliqaj's attack on a Kosovo Police official Saturday during the PSD-organised protest against the expensive electricity.
The case, which occurred prior to the introduction of the central Kosovo Government object, was recorded by media cameras. Molliqa, appears to slap the police officer. Police officers don't react, they showed the camera footage.
In his address to the protesters, the leader of the Social Democrat Party accused the Kosovo Police, whose actions he named “politicallydirged” and ill-treated “”.
A day after the protest, its organiser did not comment on his attack on the police officer in a script published on social networks. He, it, urged institutions to listen to the citizens' “willpower and turn back the Energy Regulatory Office proposal for changing tariffs”.
In his address to the social Facebook network, the chief of The PSD warned the continuation of protests and political shares against expensive electricity.
The protest, called by the PSD, gathered hundreds of protesters Saturday in the capital's main squares. They expressed their dissatisfaction with the ZRE proposal.
The rise in the electricity price has been warned by the government last year.
