In September the North Korean regime of dictator Kim Jong Un refused 3 million Chinese vaccines Sinovac offered by U NICEF under the Covax programme, which is targeting the poorest countries' vaccine equipment as a target. North Korea replied that other countries needed those vaks more. And in July he refused 2 million doses of Astrazeneca, due to side effects, as well as several doses of Russian vaccine Sputnik V.
To avoid the spread of cases, the North Korean regime decided to close the country's borders by giving up goods and sharing good relations with China.
