The 5.4-magnitude quake on the Richter scale has taken place six kilometers northwest of the town of Florina in Greece, while quakes have been heard in seven countries in the region.
Sismologist Shemsi Mustafa has said Greece is an area of high seismic activity, so there is no calm.
Mustafa explained that Greece is geographically located on the predominant African sub-production table that drives Euro-Asian and lies at the foundation of Euro-Asians during this contact and is one of the most active seismic areas in the eastern Mediterranean.
