Sunday in northern Mitrovica began with a protest.

A number of Serbs, led by Serbian List Chairman Goran Rakic, gathered to express disappointment over the refusal to hold the referendum in Kosovo.

Rakiq said they would impose reciprocity in the country's north if the Kosovo government does not allow holding the 3 April Serbian elections.

When asked about reciprocity, he claimed that he cannot answer that question.

According to him, this kind of reciprocity will take place only in northern Mitrovica municipalities -- Zubin Potoku, Leposaviqi and Zvecan -- adding that it would then be located in other municipalities.

There were no incidents from this gathering.

After the end of this protest in an organised way, they urge Serbia to participate in the referendum vote.

After that, “tuhie<x1) political north of Kosovo has returned to calm.

The security situation is closely monitored by the Special Unit, located in Jarinje.
