After several heavy weeks, with frequent electricity reductions that countries spent in 24 hours, Kosovo citizens have been returning to their most regular electricity supply in recent days.
In terms of the current state of power-power supply, news.net has contacted KEDS spokesman Viktor Buzhala.
Buzhala has declared that the situation is stable, and now nearly two weeks have not become electricity restrictions.
The country's top <x0 institutions have declared the state of emergency and, being in this situation, we cannot preach what the situation will be like in the days ahead --”, he said.
He also stressed that this depends greatly on electricity prices in the region, which have actually fallen, on domestic production as well as demand.
Otherwise, it has become known that during these days, the ZERE will be expected to make the decision by the application that has been made for extraordinary tax review.
Thus, there is expected to be price increases, as demand is required based on formula.
Buzhala even stressed that on the basis of their expenses, there will be a regular examination and then in the spring.
“For tariffs entering into force from 1 April this year until 31 March next year. It's a regular process, there's a growth waiting. But we're not the authority that decides the ZRE. Unfortunately, it will be relatively high growth. It's going to be 30 to 40 percent growth on the basis of our estimates, for both times I say”, he said.
But it has now become known that they have not even done an extraordinary examination so that the request can be made for regular consideration.
As for Kosovo's System, Transmission and Electricity Market Operator, it has been said that no funding for consumer restrictions for system balance purposes has been provided from December 30th 2021.
The COSTT Information Office has said this has not been done since responsible operators in the market have provided the electricity needed to cover the system.
“COMM STT has not provided instructions to limit consumption for system balance purposes from December 30th to December 2021, since responsible operators in the market have provided needed electricity to cover”.
It is also stressed that consumer restriction programmes can distinguish from day to day depending on cargo and electricity security for covering consumption from responsible operators like KESCO/ KEDS and KEK.
Learning that, currently KEDS is importing around 500 MGW, while production by KEK is about 600 MGW. Outside the function is the B2 block, while news teaches that the A4 T block has again emerged C Kosova A, who was back in office a few days ago.
Kosovo citizens currently pay 6.75 cents per kilowatt per hour.
Despite payments on electricity tariffs, citizens faced a lack of electricity at a time when many of them have heat right through electricity.
In this regard, the heads of institutions in the country have ordered citizens to try to save electricity.
Even in terms of expenditures made under electricity, the Government of Kosovo made a decision to prevent the operation of cryptovaluta equipment.
Kosovo police, along with the Kosovo Customs for several days, have been sequencing a large number of equipment, which is stressed they make a high electricity spending.
