Rama: We are under way of selecting directors and deputy leaders from PDK ranks

The Hertica family is one of the families who has donated her home to educate the generation during wartime against Serbia. The lesson was held in several rooms where students at the time were also forced to sit in sponges.

And the first of Pristina highly praised the Hertics' contribution given to the Albanian education.

In this year, jubilar thanks and extremely generous gratitude are primarily due to the property and property families themselves for their extraordinary contribution. Despite the dangers posed to these families as the Hertica family, they changed their homes to the value of wisdom and endurance by taking such a noble and generous act that still breaks our hearts after so long. Furthermore, these people did not know that they decided to offer these properties, and education already displaced from school institutions to their homes would continue for not a year or two but nearly a decade, thus turning homes and owners themselves into safe targets in the eyes of invaders. That's why they just found out they set this schoolhouse on fire today, he said.

The then former head of the school house, Avdyl Gashi, says that in Pristina there have been 12 objects which have been turned into houses-schools.

Gashi even points to the difficult period of that time, since teachers who taught had to move to the next country.

The teaching began under these conditions, but it's hard for a man to say it in a few words, but when the call was made to start learning would as well as the citizens would like to offer houses to start learning, none of us had any idea of how to teach in one room, in two rooms, or in five rooms, and what those rooms would be. They were furnished rooms... but 11 were furnished for classes. Meanwhile, the ceremony of sharing gratitude for personalities who contributed to this school house, due to the Kosovo Government's preventive measures, was postponed for June 11th, on the date of Pristina's liberation.
