The Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, the Pristina branch, has not denied a coalition with the Democratic League of Kosovo if there is such an offer from the latter.
For the first time after the elections, Haradinaj has spoken of democracy. com about reports that his name has been coveted for the post of Pristina municipality deputy mayor.
He has said they will consider whether they receive such an offer, leaving open the possibility of coalition with the LDK.
Haradinaj has also announced that the AAK branch will meet at five o'clock to discuss the issue.
So far, we have not followed any such offer from the Democratic League of Kosovo, if there is any offer we will surely consider. We at five o'clock have a meeting with the AAK branch, we still have no new decision”, Haradinaj said.
By contrast, Pristina Mayor Progress Rama has called the session for the election of the assembly's chairman on Wednesday, January 5th.
So far, no coalition for co-governance has been reached in Pristina. Reports also reached a possible agreement between PDK and LDK. However, this has not been confirmed by either party.
The deadline for choosing the leader is January 6th.
