The Democratic Party of Kosovo will not participate in tomorrow's session, where it will be discussed regarding Serbia's intentions to hold constitutional referendums on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
The chief of the PDK Parliamentary Group in parliament, Abelard Tahiri, says Prime Minister Albin Kurti is avoiding responsibility. According to Tahiri, such a session is completely unnecessary.
For us, holding Serbia's referendum in Kosovo constitutes violations of our sovereignty and constitutional order. In this context, we have preceded and supported the approach not to allow the organisation of this referendum. We would like the government to have had better co-ordination with Quinti's countries and separately with the US, so in relation to this matter”, Tahiri said.
“Although we have a government stance, the government and the majority have called for holding an extraordinary session for tomorrow to lay this topic and for debate in the Kosovo Assembly”, he stressed.
“The PDK sees the call of this session all unnecessary and will not respond. We're going to be part of it tomorrow, said Tahiri.
