At this meeting, Minister Svecla has expressed gratitude to the German state for state-building and building Kosovo's capacities.
“We talked about our priorities in fighting organised crime, corruption, strengthening the rule of law and socio-economic development, especially now in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Visa liberalisation for our citizens, EU membership and Interpol are our goals, which I have announced we are intensively engaged in achieving and that of course we need their commitment and assistance”, writes Svecla on Facebook.
The meeting has also discussed deepening co-operation between the Kosovo Police and the Kosovo Police, co-operation in exchange for information, and expanding bilateral co-operation of ministries.
Given that an enormous number of our citizens live in the Bravaria area and throughout the Republic of Germany, Minister Svecla said they have also talked about concrete policies that facilitate their lives and commitments there.
“We are currently in the final phase of recognising the license-visors of the Republic of Kosovo from Germany, and these are our concrete steps in this direction”, Svecla has said.
