Kurt waits for Havener: I expect close cooperation with the ambassador

The new ambassador well recognises our region, Kosovo, our people and history. So in the coming weeks, months and years, I expect to have close co-operation for the best relationship between Kosovo and the United States in order to expand and deepen our alliance, which is in many areas from democracy, rule of law, good governance, economic investments, and up to defence and security, long-term peace and stability”, he said.
While US Ambassador to Kosovo Jeffrey Havenier said he expects deepening co-operation with Kosovo.
“The US appreciates its relationship with Kosovo, and I appreciate that relationship. I believe that we will continue close co-operation with the prime minister and his government to continue on the path to a state that is democratic, multiethnic and with proseeded”, he said.
Today morning, Ambassador Havenier delivered credentials to the country's president, Vjosa Osmani.
