The Kumanovo Group members, after the Supreme Court rejected the retrial: We do not want mercy but justice

Two convicts have reacted from prison in this case to Fatmir Recica and Naser Baraliu.

Recica says they have not expected any miracle from this country.

We don't believe in this justice system in this state. The only hope for us is the Court of Strasbourg. We hope in the justice of the international court, since no witnesses we've invited have been accepted”, Recica declared from prison.

Sentenced to 40 years in prison, Recica says the Albanian political factor in northern Macedonia will be comfortable with this decision.

Well, we know we're not guilty of liberation. We came in 2015 to make the national union. Prison doesn't bother me because I know my ideal. I'm going to go all the way to the end of my” truth.

Recica has said they will consult the lawyers if the transfer to Kosovo is offered.

I don't know if we harm our country or our people by such a decision. We may be relieved with the transfer to Kosovo, but it would be kept important to detail”, Recica said.

The life sentence prisoner, Naser Baraliu, says there is no justice for Albanians in northern Macedonia.

“The Albanians here don't care. We expect Strasbourg to begin again. We want justice and clear the case. We love the sinner. We want no mercy or forgiveness. We want justice. Who's guilty here and we're all right”, Naser Baraliu said.

Recica, Baraliu and several other prisoners are placed in the Idrizovo prison, while the rest of the prisoners are in the Shutka prison.
