The current prices of oil and its derivatives are the highest ever recorded in Kosovo.
Thus says Fadil Behrani, chairman of the Kosovo Oil Association, who claims that at the end of January, supply prices will begin to fall.
“We are currently behind other countries of the region at prices. It is only North Macedonia at the lowest price, but the excise has 22 cents less. Today in Kosovo for diesel prices range from 1.19 to 1,27 per litre, while for gasoline from 1.21 to 1.30 cents. During this week, there has been a $25 increase per tonne, for four days the price has been raised to $100,”, Berjan said in the Kosova FM Clan.
The citizens may complain, but the growth problem is elsewhere in world markets. Prices are rising everywhere. In December, there has been a communiqué from the OPEC since January, at the end of January, there will be market stabilisation, there will be more production, and the price will drop”.
He further stressed that the quality of the derivatives offered on the local market is high, and it bases it on citizens' samples.
There was no complaint in the Ministry of Commerce. This shows that the quality of oil is like in other states”.
According to Berjan with the adoption of the Oil Law in the Kosovo Assembly, many issues on this field would be settled.
On the other hand, the association he runs from now will begin with the daily publication of the most expensive and cheaper market price.
