Kastrati through a Facebook post said that since the appointment of the new RTK Board has been faced with blackmail and pressure to get hundreds of workers out of work, in exchange for continuing his work in this position until the end of the mandate in April 2022.

Dear RTK colleagues, friends and collaborators, have just been notified that the members of the RTK Board, appointed weeks ago by politics, have decided to dismiss me from the chief general's position in Radio Television Kosovo.
I got the discharge announcement at the house, where I've been in solitary confinement for a few days as a result of the vivid infection. Besides, I wasn't even notified about any download procedure, nor was there a point in the order of the day for my dismissal.
Since April 2019, when I was elected to this position, I proudly boast that I led public media, maintaining professionalism and public credibility. For this period I have managed to pay over 4m euros in debt. Since the arrival of members of the government's new Board of Government, Kurti has faced blackmail and pressure from them to get hundreds of workers out of work in exchange for continuing my work in this position until the end of the mandate in April 2022.
But I've clearly told the political members of this board that I don't get anyone out of work.
The reason is simple: They work for many years and are necessary, while with those salaries they support their families, which is quite difficult in this serious economic situation. A few days ago, this Bord, despite my illness and isolation, asked me to send him budgetary projection, including his workplaces, and I sent them all detailed and they had no remarks. I have sent all budgetary and program projections without turning any workers out, even though the current government for this year has reduced RTK's budget for more than 2m euros.
