Snow has fallen in the Sahara this month, and ice has been seen in Saudi Arabia and temperatures have decreased to -2 degrees Celsius.
A photographer has photographed the ice in sand dunes in the Sahara, while in Saudi Arabia, locals and foreigners flocked to the desert in the Aseer region to enjoy the rare sight, falling snow.
The amazing images of the photograph, Karym Bouchetata, showed the small town in the Algerian desert, Ain Sefra.
Sheep can be seen standing on ice - covered dunes as temperatures drop to -3 degrees Fahrenheit [1 -3 ° C].
Ain Sefra, known as the Desert Gate, is about 1,000 meters above sea level and surrounded by the Atlas Mountains.
The Sahara Desert covers most of North Africa, and although very dry today, the desert is expected to become green again in about 15,000 years.
Saudi Arabia's inhabitants expressed joy and enthusiasm for the rare snowbaths, as it is something that has not occurred many years.
