Turkey's President, Recep Tayip Erdogan, will stay for visit to Tirana today, where all preparations for the reception ceremonies have already been made.
Turkey's flags are located along the “witness of the Nation” in Tirana, along with Albania's flags.
Under the visit, Albania's General Directorate of Police has taken additional measures to prevent vehicle flow in several road axes in Tirana and other cities during the Turkish president's visit.
During his visit, Erdogan will meet with top officials in the country.
During the meetings, Turkish-Albania relations at the level of strategic partnership will be reviewed in all dimensions, and steps that can be taken to deepen co-operation will be discussed.
Erdogan will also attend the handover ceremony of residences built by Turkey in the town of Laci for families affected by the November 2019 earthquake.
It will also participate in the inauguration ceremony of restoration works at the Etéhem Beu mosque in Tirana, which was renovated by the Turkish Agency for Co-operation and Co-ordination (TIKA).
Part of Turkey's president's visit is also a speech in Albania's Parliament.
