The indictment was proclaimed Tuesday by Judge Anita Krasniqi-Penaj, reports “The Justice Act”.
Under this conviction, the sentence of imprisonment and fines, accused Rexha will not be executed unless the same commits other criminal acts in the verifiating period of two years.
Rexha is also obliged to pay the amount of 30 euros in the name of the judiciary and the amount of 30 euros for the funding for compensation of crime victims.
Otherwise, in advance, after reading the indictment on the part of prosecutor Ayse Ferati, the accused Rexha pleaded guilty to the criminal offence and added that there was no information about the changes in the law.
The plea was not rejected by prosecutor Ferati, and was subsequently approved by Judge Krasniqi-Penaj.
In the end, Judge Krasniqi-Penaj announced to the parties about the right to file a complaint against that decision in the 15-day term.
According to the indictment exercised by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Pristina, Enver Rexha was charged with the quality of the top public official, director at the Kosovo Archaeological Institute, acting contrary to Article 5, paragraph 1.1, of Law No.04/L-050, of the declaration, background and control of the assets of senior public officials, where he was obliged to declare property at the Anti-corruption Agency <x0, through the form for the declaration of wealth, other material benefits or financial obligations.
The accuser says that on March 21, 2019, on the preliminary year of January 1st, December 31, 2018, he did not accurately submit the required data by hiding, not marking the type “Mercedes Benz CDI” car, which is on behalf of his son Eliot Rexha.
With this, Enver Rexha was accused of committing criminal work “underreporting or false reporting of property, income, other material benefits or financial obligations”, from Article 437 paragraph 2, of the Penal Code, which is punishable by fines and imprisonment of six months to five years.
