300 prisoners from Denmark in Gjilan: See the bulldozer escape that took place in Danish prison many years ago

12 prisoners had managed to flee spectacularly from Copenhagen prison in Denmark 27 years earlier.

They had found the opportunity to escape, as their associates from outside had destroyed prison walls with a bulldozer, Kosovo reports.

The event, held in August 1995, was filmed by a Danish television team that had reported that a protest would take place in outer spaces near the prison. But it turned out that the organisers had planned for the escape to get public attention.

And it is Denmark that is close to finalising the agreement with Kosovo to transfer 300 prisoners to the Gjilan prison.
