Swiss hospitals complain. The hospital beds are disturbing. The intensive care units come to an end. The staff too. A large part of patients are dual seriously ill citizens who have contracted the virus abroad, especially in Kosovo, writes brick.ch.
The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, took advantage of the case at the Swiss Economic Forum (SEF) in Interlaken the EU. It calls on its countrymen in Switzerland to be vaccinated against the Corona virus. Your complaint of about 200,000 Kosovo-rooted people is emotional and attractive. However, it also reproves Swiss authorities.
The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, has called on Kosovars in Switzerland to be vaccinated. And Switzerland is partly guilty of the fact that many dual citizens have not yet been vaccinated.
Osmani was asked by “Blic”: Why this vaccine appeal?
“Vaxing not only saves lives but also helps us in our fight against this deadly virus. And it protects the economy. We need these so our societies can recover. So I call on my Kosovo colleagues here in Switzerland, but also in Kosovo: “ ” This is the only option to deal with this pandemic”, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu said.
Asked that: Do you feel guilty that Kosovo returnees brought the virus back to Switzerland?
You talk about Kosovo immigrants in Switzerland. They're citizens of your country who would have been vaccinated in Switzerland. It is the mission of the Swiss authorities to persuade foreign-rooted people to be vaccinated. All these people should have been vaccinated in Switzerland before traveling to Kosovo. We had one of the lowest levels of infection by August, and the number of infections increased significantly with guests from Switzerland and other countries”, Osmani said about Blick.
