Islamic militia spokesman Suhail Shaheen said on Friday that China's deputy foreign minister had said his country would increase humanitarian aid to them.
While the West has taken a waiting stance and has asked for more evidence for a more comprehensive and humble human rights government, China has said that “requires friendly and co-operative relations”, the Guardian reports.
Analysts have said that stable co-operation could pave the way for infrastructure investments in Afghanistan.
Taliban have said Mullah Baradari would be the leader of the new government, expected to be unveiled on Saturday.
