Environment, Spatial Planning and Infrastructure Minister Lieburn Aliu said that as regards the agreement reached at the White House, Kosovo has entered into obligations for the construction of the Besi-Merdar highway, which, according to him, is expected to start building in the spring of next year.
“As far as Washington's agreement is concerned and the UN peace membership, Kosovo has entered into obligation to realise Besi-Merdar road. Of course, this process of financial causes can drag on, but it is a process that will be completed. On the other hand, the same project means that it needs to be accomplished on the other side. Serbia, which has so far had no... We can't say for sure, but I think spring we'll have a good chance of beginning that highway”, Aliu stressed.
Minister Aliu made these comments at the media conference.
We remember that the Kurti Government had said it would not implement the Washington Agreement, which was signed by former Prime Minister Avdullah Hoti.
