Patients connected to respiratory devices fighting for life, inside Pulmology at QKUK

Every room in Pulmology is filled with patients. With young and old. Almost all connected to respiratory devices. They see each other, but they can hardly speak.

An 80-year-old tells of Express that he has already been at war with the virus for two weeks, and that his condition has been very heavy.

Family members of patients walk through the clinic corridors and seem tired and lost. They seek help for their families.

Pulmology Director Musa Hoxha tells Express that 88 infected patients are lying in this clinic.

He says the patient situation is heavy, but stable.
