Meetings with German businesses, academics, researchers, civil society representatives and the media were an important part of my official visit to Germany.
The visit could not be concluded without a conversation with German businesses, given that Germany is the main investor in our country and trade exchange between our countries is experiencing a significant momentum. I had the satisfaction of sharing with members of the German Association of Eastern Business, numerous economics, business representatives and energy ministry representatives, talking about investment opportunities in the field of IT, digitalisation, industry, energy and health. I assured them that Kosovo is ready to be their next investment address.
Also, I had the pleasure of talking to Ambassador Wolfgang Ischinger, in the context of a discussion organised by the German Council for Foreign Relations, talking about the challenges to the entire Republic of Kosovo, current developments and opportunities ahead.
I also talked to academics and researchers at the Lost University about statehood and consolidation of the international subjectivity of our Republic. After “exhibition visit Standing for Liberty”, which focused on the stories of world-insecuted academics and scientists, also spoke of the importance behind the education in Kosovo's resistance to terror and the depression of Serbia's genocide regime.
