She at a media conference in Belgrade said Kosovo will not disappear from the agenda and that some issues are resolved at the end of the process.
Some questions will be resolved at the end of the process. Not all EU countries have recognised Kosovo's independence. I'm for a pragmatic approach. This case will not go away, it has to be solved. But I'm for a way where all other issues are resolved first. I hope we will have new progress in the process around Kosovo”, the German Chancellor said, referring to recognition of Kosovo's independence from Serbia.
Meanwhile, Vucic himself is clear that there is no EU membership without the Kosovo issue being resolved.
If the question is whether we are aware we will not enter the EU without resolving the Kosovo issue, then it is absolutely clear. We talked about all regional issues, Serbia's European road, about dialogue with Pristina in Brussels. I told the Chancellor that Serbia is committed to dialogue and that Serbia believes a frozen conflict is not a good solution and that we will always be open to a compromise solution”, Vuciq said.
Otherwise, German Chancellor Angela Merkel will visit Tirana tomorrow, where apart from Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, she will meet the prime ministers of the region, including Kosovo's Albin Kurti.
