Prime Minister Edi Rama has waited at the Palace of Brigades, German Chancellor Angela Merkel. After arriving in Tirana, the first to meet with Merkel was Prime Minister Edi Rama, with protocol ceremonies held at the Palace of Brigades.

The meeting with Balkan leaders will take place at 12: 00 a.m., while at 14,35 p.m., Chancellor and Rama will have a joint press conference. Yesterday Merkel was in Belgrade, where she met with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic.

This is her last visit to the Balkans, as in late September it gives up its post as Chancellor after 16 years.
