An open letter claims that at gatherings that Bolsonaro's supporters held last Tuesday posed a threat to democracy through a rebel model that had shown US President Donald Trump's supporters to the Capitol building [the centre of Congress and Senate] on January 6th.
They praised the nationwide March of Bolsonaro's supporters against the Supreme Court and Congress, which included the supremeist groups, military police and public figures of any level of government, that it was “losing fear of a stamp on the world's third largest democracy”.
The signatories included Jose Luis Rodriguez Zapateron ) former prime minister of Spain, Yanis Varoufakis, Greece's former Finance Minister Jeremy Corbyin, former British Laborist leader Fernando Lugon dealt with Paraguay and others, reports Guardian, Pryskopi.
They stressed that on August 10th, Bolsonaro “had led an unprecedented military parade in the capital, Brasilia, until his allies in Congress had made major reforms in the country's electoral system. ”
The president himself had said on August 21st that the Marchs were preparations for “anti-pucin” against Congress and the Supreme Court.
He had claimed that Brazil's “communist constitution” had taken power from him, and had charged “the judge, the left, and the entire secret interest device” that they were conspiring against him.
According to polls, 60 per cent of voters would not vote for Bolsonaro in next year's elections. /Periscope
