Kurti has said that Western Balkan relations with the EU have been discussed at the meeting, as well as having talked about the upcoming Kosovo-Serbia meeting.

Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's meeting with Lajcak has taken place at Slovenia's Strategic Forum in Bled.

We discussed Western EU-Balkan relations, as well as previous and future dialogue meetings with Miroslav Lajcak at the BSF. We agreed on the importance of approaching the EU's perspective with people and that there is no alternative for the EU enlargement process for the Western Balkan region”, Kurti wrote on Twitter.

Kurti, at Slovenia's Strategic Forum in Bled, has said that future EU enlargement and reforms in Western Balkan countries should occur shoulder to shoulder. According to him, all Western Balkan states must be integrated into the EU together.

For the need for the Western Balkans' inclusion in the EU, Kurti cited two facts that could benefit the two sides.

The next meeting between Kosovo and Serbia is expected to be held this month in Brussels.
