Kurti calls to the International Community: Do not close your eyes to the Ottoman regime in Serbia

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has blamed Serbia for supporting criminal groups in northern Kosovo, as it has asked the International Community not to close its eyes before the push the Ottoman regime is making in Serbia. Commenting on last night's attacks on Zubin Potok and Zvecan, Prime Minister Kurti has praised Kosovo Police and communities indiscriminately ethnice for the patience shown in the face of ongoing provocations.

It is unfortunate that criminal groups in the north of Ibri are always known and supported by Serbia continue to oppose rule of law, order and public security by attacking Kosovo state institutions. Kosovo police have consistently witnessed its professionalism and accuracy, even citizens indiscriminately there have witnessed their tranquillity and patience. So, I call on all of them to continue this”, he said.

He has said that neither individual nor criminal groups can prevail over our country, while calling for the international community's response.

The International Union does not ignore the push of the Ottoman regime in Serbia towards Kosovo's designated citizens to oppose and fight our state. Border points 1 and 31 are with border police, while the Special Unit there is to protect them”, Kurti has said.

Kurti has argued the presence of the Special Unit in the north, saying the attacks on Zubin Potok and Zvecan are evidence of what would happen at border points 1 and 31 if it were not for the Kosovo Police.

The targeted X-rays that took place shortly after midnight are evidence of what would happen to border points 1 and 31 if members of the Kosovo Special Police Unit were not there. Blocking the roads is not happening by our police, nor is the free circulation of the movement hindered by our police, rather”, he said.

Prime Minister Kurti made these comments in Skopje, where he is participating in the Socio-ecological Forum.
