He cited two Israeli-based studies that showed a decline in infections in people who received a third or a strengthening dose, CNN reports.
A third dose “will really be stable, and if it is stable, then it is very likely that a three-dosage regime will be the routine regime,” said Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases, at a conference Thursday.
After all, it is up to the American Food and Barnas Administration to decide whether Americans should get three doses of the Ovid-19 vaccine, Fauci said.
