Media in Germany report that the 23-year-old lost control of his car for still unknown reasons and crashed into the central barrier.
The 23-year-old jumped out of the car. According to police, he didn't wear a seat belt. He died at the scene of the accident.
There was another person in the car who suffered a severe blow but escaped with no injuries.
