Kosovo police on Sunday have arrested a man in the town of Vushtrri, who allegedly married a minor girl.
In the 24-hour police report, the girl was reportedly 16.
After the interview, the detainee has declared that he married minors a year ago.
The suspect has been released and the case subject continues in regular procedure.

“NN- It has been reported that the minor victim, the Kosovo female, was sent to the gynaecology department at KKUKU. Regarding the case, the Kosovo male suspect has been interviewed, who has claimed to have married the minor a year earlier. In consultation with the prosecutor the suspect has been released, the case's subject is prosecuted in regular procedure”.
