By means of a reaction, the CDR has said that this reaction is being made for writing the KoHA.net portal, dated 11.08.2021 with the title: ”Hagiu: I can support the KPC and the KDR if they close their eyes to scandals” as well as to the statements of Justice Minister Albulen Hadziu, who said he does not want to support the KDR when the Council will close its eyes to scandals.
“The KDP, it expresses disappointment and reacts to this scripture by announcing broad opinion, including the media, that the Judiciary Council, as an independent institution, is fulfilling its constitutional and legal responsibilities. The reactions and declaration of Minister Hadziu do not contribute to the co-operation of institutions because the responsibilities of institutions for communication and co-operation are determined with the Constitution and law, rather than personal will. Otherwise, KDK, has its mechanisms for addressing any issue that is KDP's responsibility, so any efforts from abroad, including Minister Haxhiu's statements, are without impact on how this Council” operates, it says in response.
In addition, the Judiciary Council reportedly assures all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo that it will continue to commit to an independent, transparent and impartial judicial system and calls on the justice minister to refrain from any statements that interfere with the independence of the judiciary.
