Prime Minister Kurti meets with Ambassador Susanne Schütz, talk Berlin process

Sustainable regional co-operation is built on the values of equality between the sides and should be in service to advancing the region on the road towards the European Union, not with the aim of replacing it, Prime Minister Kurti said.
Prime Minister Kurti announced Ambassador Schurtz's work and government achievements in the first 100 days. He said good management of the COVID-19 pandemic, reform initiated in justice, combating crime, and preserving public money have positively influenced the increased citizens' trust in institutions. He added that this has also affected economic indicators, which show that in the first quarter of the year, economic activity has increased by 15%, budget revenues for 30% and exports for 66%, while economic growth for this year is projected to be 7.9%.
Ambassador Schütz congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on his new assignment and work. She said Germany supports Kosovo on its road to European integration and supports regional co-operation under the Berlin process. He also stressed the importance of progress in the facilitated dialogue by the European Union.
