How much money will be received by Distria Krasniqi and Driton Kuka for the Olympic medal and who imposed these fees by the state of Kosovo

Golden Judistria Distria Krasniqi and her coach Driton Kuka will be rewarded by the state of Kosovo after winning the gold medal at the “Tokio 2020” Olympic Games.

In 2013, when the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports was led by Memli Krasniqi, the current chairman of The PDK, it had proposed setting up awards for successful athletes, and had done so in co-ordination with the Kosovo Olympic Committee (KOK) and sports federations.

Under the decisions of the time, it is envisioned that the coach of sportsmen or athletes who have won medals will receive 50% of the award the athlete receives.

In the freshest case, Distria Krasniqi, who won the gold medal today (Saturday) at the “Tokio 2020” will be rewarded 100 thousand euros from the state of Kosovo, while coach Driton Kuka with 50 thousand euros.
