The Kosovo government has held the 20th meeting, this time electronically, in which it has approved the decision to fulfil and change the Government of the Republic of Kosovo's decision to propose candidates for leaders and members of the Energy Regulatory Office (ZRRE), which has been sent to the Republic of Kosovo from the nineteenth meeting (19) held with 14.07.2021.
With the change of this decision fulfilled, instead of the proposed candidate for members of the ZERE Board, Mr. Vehebi Sofiu, has been nominated Mr. Astrit Sarachini. Even so, Mr. Vehebi Sofiu, under ruling No. 08/19 on the date 14,07.2021, continues to be the candidate proposed by the Government of the Republic of Kosovo for the chairmanship of this Board. PEriscope reported days ago, how Mr. Sofius was taught the names suspected of graduating from the University of Kraguyevci in 2016.
Sofiu graduated in 2016 and was among the students from Kosovo, who had accepted diplomas from the University of Kraguyevci in Serbia. The university's rector was Nebojsa Arsenijevic.
Serbian media, that year, had reported as scandalous matter for the fact that, as reported, Albanian students had graduated on topics related to Kosovo independence.
Contacted by the Kosovo media in 2016, some of the visiting students had denied it. They have said they have practiced within the framework of the European Centre for Peace and Development (ECPD), which had several subsidiarys in the region. But, Serbian media reported that all these doctoral dissertations, found now, printed during 2016, and directly referred to the Rector Nebojsa Arsenijevic.
Otherwise, the government's new decision will be prosecuted for review and approval in the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo and takes effect after publishing in the Official Journal of the Republic of Kosovo.
