The way judges should be brought in and outside the courtroom is formalised in a Court Ethics Code, adopted by the High Judicial Council in April 2021. Part of it is also the principle of gracious and self - restraint.
By means of him judges are required to avoid improper conduct and display it in all their vital activities. Referenced to the content of the video of Elbasan's chief judge, if published by it, at least two points of principle should have been violated that corresponds to the behaviour of judges.
At the third point of this principle, the Ethical Judicial Code stipulates that the judge does not allow his office to be used for other purposes contrary to those related to the exercise of judicial activity.
While at another point, within the same principle, the Code underlines that the judge displays restraint in using media and social networks.
