The Government's decision on lowering direct subsidies for farmers -- from 1,000 euros to only 400 euros -- is a serious blow to the vine, which even under normal economic conditions operates hard.
This action of Government is abdicated to promises and expectations of farmers for increasing the promised subsidy.
We recommend to the Government of Kosovo that it abolish this decision and decide otherwise, to increase subsidies for farmers.
Driftery is a source of life for more than 4,700 families and also potential for export growth, so no support should be reduced for them!
