The prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has received a letter of congratulations from his Dutch counterpart, Mark Rutte. In his letter, Prime Minister Rutte has congratulated Prime Minister Kurti on his new position and has desired success in the important tasks ahead.
Our countries, as well as the rest of Europe, are facing an indescribable challenge such as it is from COVID-19, it says on paper. Prime Minister Rutte expresses satisfaction that the European Union has had the opportunity to help Kosovo through the package of assistance to the Western Balkans and the COVAX mechanism for securing safe vaccines against COVID-19. Similarly, last year the Netherlands had come to the aid of Kosovo, even through bilatheral donation for personal protective equipment to the Kosovo University Clinic Centre.
