Following former Prime Minister Sali Berisha's statement <x0non grata” and his family, Taulant Balla of the Socialist Party has reacted.
He has welcomed the US decision, distributing Secretary of State Antony Blinken's post.
“SUFFECTS THE COUNTRY OFTEV E Former Albanian President Sali Berisha's former corrupt acts have undermined democracy in Albania. I am announcing Berisha and his immediate family members as unacceptable to entering the United States. We remain #united against corruption with our partners in Albania.” State Secretary Antony Blinken It is a modern day for the Albanian Democracy”, writes Balla.
This information was disclosed in an official US response, where US Secretary of State Antony Blinken defines Berisha and his family as inadequate to enter the US.
Former Albanian President Sali Berisha's corrupt “Acts undermine democracy in Albania. I am publicly saying that Berisha and his close family members are inadequate for entry into the United States. We remain united with our partners in Albania for fighting corruption”, Blinken writes.
